CORE Athlete Jaime Del Razo is back at it again — ready to push his limits and inspire our community! This summer, Jaime will compete in the Hudson Valley Half Iron-Man, conquering 70.3 miles of swimming, biking, and running to raise vital funds for CORE’s scholarship and youth empowerment programs.
The Challenge:
In 2021, Jaime completed this grueling race in 8 hours and 50 minutes. This year, he faces an even tougher challenge: beating his personal record by at least 20 minutes to finish within the new 8 hour 30 minute cut-off time.
Your encouragement and donations will fuel Jaime’s determination to reach this goal! Every dollar you contribute is a show of support for Jaime’s endurance and a direct investment in CORE’s meaningful work.
Why We’re Racing:
All proceeds directly support CORE’s mission, including:
- The Que Llueva Café (QLC) Scholarship, providing financial assistance for college-bound undocumented students (to be awarded this summer).
- Our annual Immigrant Youth Empowerment Conference (IYEC), bringing resources and leadership opportunities to youth this fall.
Together, we can keep these programs thriving and create more opportunities for our Chicano/Latino students! Donate today and help Jaime go the distance — for himself and for our community!
How You Can Help
This year’s fundraising goal is $7,030 — that’s $100 for every mile Jaime will cover:
- 1.2-mile swim at Williams Lake, starting at 7:00 AM
- 56-mile bike ride around Ashokan Reservoir
- 13.1-mile trail run to the finish line
Race Day: June 28, 2025 — mark your calendar and cheer Jaime on!
Every dollar you contribute is a show of support for Jaime’s endurance and a direct investment in CORE’s meaningful work.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Let’s reach the finish line together!
